Hey, here's a sickening thought.

Could you imagine someone drowning?

And in the ocean where he is drowning in, people surround him and watch.

They laugh and poke at him. People delight at that.

But it isn't enough for them. They wade forth and push him down, into deeper depths of the waters. People are just SICK.

Wait, he is a person too, ha ha. He is sick too, after all.

We're all no longer the innocent bastards we were born as. We can only continue thinking that we still are.

OK, back to the story. So he notices that people are able to wade towards him.

Wait, the ocean was actually shallow. He was drowning in shallow waters.

Apparently he was struggling in such shallow waters, implies that he is a weak bastard. Just like how someone can struggle so much with problems so minor, by kicking up such a huge fuss about it.

So embarrased he felt as he got out of the waters and walked back home with his head bowed down in utter shame. And the people followed him home, laughing and poking at him still.

Just to make life worse for him, they get happy by doing so, so why not? Happy can already.

Of course, there are people who are unable to do certain things, we are not perfect. So in this case, why do you laugh at this pathetic bastard who can't swim? You mean to say you're better and closer to perfection? Actually they all are better and closer to perfection.

He then realises that everyone is far more better than he is. All of them are able to achieve so much, yet he could do nothing.

He was just a nice and kind bastard that couldn't do anything. He couldn't talk properly, he couldn't be as cool as them, he was weak, he was everything you could mock at for your own pleasure.

In other words, he is useless. Because no one likes to be kind and nice now.

This guy now has a choice, to be further brought down by the words and works of others, or to become further motivated to work hard and become a better person.

I don't know why I'm not choosing the latter.
